Chris Robbins Featured as The Weather Channel’s “Geek of the Week”

This was a lot of fun for me. The Weather Channel featured me on their “Weather Geeks” show, which is hosted by my friend and colleague, Dr. Marshall Shepherd.

My Favorite Photo

I have over 30,000 photos in my library, and the first photo shown in the segment is my favorite.  This was a historic snowstorm in Dallas/Fort Worth on February 11-12, 2010.  I had about 14 inches of snow at my house in Southlake.  DFW Airport measured its greatest 24-hour snowfall on record (12.5″).  In the picture are my two Siberian Huskies, both of whom have crossed over to the Rainbow Bridge.  This was Cane’s (right) last snowstorm and he loved it.  He passed away 7 months later.

➡︎ The segment aired on October 4th and it was an honor to be selected. I encourage everyone to follow Marshall’s Facebook page: Link  – Chris Robbins
